How Many Potatoes does it take to change a light bulb?

Only kidding, but really you may have heard of the potato powered clock, i guess I two questions,

1) how many potatoes does it take to light a 40watt lightbulb?

2) can you use any vegetable to light a bulb in the same way?

ps before any vegetable rights activists get on the case, i wish it to be known %26quot;no vegetables were harmed in the making of this question%26quot;
