How do I change the light bulb on a 1998 Honda CBR600 F3?

I have it unplugged and the rubber backing off but I cant see or figure out if the metal clip holding the lightbulb in place pops off or needs to be unscrewed. Can someone help me, I don't have an owners manual.How do I change the light bulb on a 1998 Honda CBR600 F3?The clip can be removed by pulling the closed end and letting the open end of the clip slide over the assembly. The bulb is held in place by installing the clip.
